My Utah Photo Contest Rules

  • You must be 18 or older to participate. Parents or guardians wishing to submit a photo on behalf of someone under the age of 18 may do so.

  • You must be the photographer and owner of your entire image.

  • Your photo must be an original work; no third party may own or control any materials depicted in the photo. The photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person. You must ensure that rights have not been previously granted to any person, firm, corporation, or other entity.

  • By entering the contest, you agree that all photos submitted can be used non-exclusivly by Bank of Utah for advertising purposes for up to two years. All photos submitted in the “My Utah “ Campaign may be used, royalty-free, in Bank of Utah advertisements, publicity, on social media and/or on Bank of Utah’s website, digital signage, and print collateral. Photographers retain the overall copyright to these photos, the above agreed to permissions notwithstanding. Under certain circumstances, if Bank of Utah wishes to use the photo exclusively, the photographer will be contacted for additional compensation.

  • By accepting a prize, the winner consents to the use of his or her name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, hometown and state and/or other personal information in advertising without additional compensation.

  • By submitting a photo to Bank of Utah in connection with the “My Utah” Campaign, you agree to indemnify and hold the Bank harmless from and against any and all third-party losses, demands, damages, rights, claims, actions, and liabilities of any kind arising out of or related to any claims of infringement or violation of privacy or publicity rights related to Bank of Utah’s use of the submission.

  • The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

  • Bank of Utah employees and family members of employees are not eligible to enter the contest.

  • In most instances, Bank of Utah will include your name and location on the imagery.

  • Your information will not be sold or distributed to third-party vendors.

  • You are allowed to submit a maximum of three photos.
