Bank of Utah Hires Seven New Mortgage Loan Officers for South Towne Mortgage Office
Ogden, Utah, March 5, 2012
Bank of Utah has hired seven experienced loan officers to fill positions within its new South Towne Mortgage Office, 230 West Towne Ridge Parkway, Suite 520 in Sandy.
John Gonzales has joined Bank of Utah to serve as the lead residential loan officer and branch manager. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the loan industry, including nine years at National City Mortgage where he worked for several years as the statewide district manager. He was recently appointed by Governor Herbert to serve as a residential regulatory mortgage commissioner for the state of Utah. Gonzales is a graduate of the College of Eastern of Utah.
Bank of Utah has welcomed BJ Hansen as a licensed mortgage loan consultant. She is licensed as a principal lending manager and real estate broker in the state of Utah, and has worked in the industry since 1974. Hansen served seven years on the Utah Mortgage Lender's Ethics Committee. Hansen worked previously as a senior loan officer for another firm.
Karen Neisler and Leah Jones are sisters from Northwestern Colorado. Jones holds degrees from the University of Northern Colorado and the University of Utah. She worked as a financial analyst before joining Neisler in the mortgage industry in 2002. Neisler has had a long history working in both the real estate and mortgage industries, spending the majority of that time with National City Mortgage. Both women will work as mortgage loan officers for Bank of Utah, offering more than 40 years of combined experience in the real estate industry.
New Bank of Utah mortgage loan officer, Kathy Wallberg, has been in the banking business and loan industry for more than 30 years. Wallberg previously worked as a loan officer for companies such as Berrett Mortgage Services.
Ray Daniels will also serve as a mortgage loan officer for Bank of Utah. He has worked in the mortgage industry for 20 years. Daniels earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and a minor in fine art from the University of Utah and Columbia College. In the past Daniels has worked as a senior loan officer for other financial and mortgage institutions.
Tim Roberts has worked in the financial industry for 23 years. He attended of the University of Utah, studying business economics. Roberts has served as a residential mortgage originator, as a department manager at Bank One and as the regional manager at American Investment Bank. He will work as a mortgage loan officer for Bank of Utah.
