Frank Browning, chairman of the board at Bank of Utah, was honored with the Brent Richards Legacy Award by the Ogden Rotary Club on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center. The award recognizes Browning’s decades-long dedication to serving the Weber County community.
A lifelong resident of Ogden, Browning has quietly and consistently made a difference through hands-on volunteerism, particularly in mentoring youth. He has served in a variety of leadership roles in the Boy Scouts of America, including Scoutmaster and President of the Trapper Trails Council, and has spent countless hours coaching youth basketball and soccer.
His impact reaches far beyond youth programs. Browning has generously contributed his time and leadership to many local organizations, including:
- Ogden School Foundation
- Ogden Symphony Ballet Association
- Ogden Regional Medical Center
- Ogden Community Foundation
- Weber State University Alumni Board
- Goddard School of Business Advisory Council
- Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Board
He has also served the financial industry with distinction as a board member of the American Bankers Association and Utah Bankers Association, and is a graduate of the prestigious Pacific Coast Banking School.
Browning’s legacy of service — from guiding youth and supporting education to strengthening health care and the arts — embodies the spirit of the Brent Richards Legacy Award. His leadership is marked by humility, integrity and a steadfast commitment to improving the lives of others.
Bank of Utah congratulates Frank Browning on this meaningful recognition and appreciates his lasting impact on the community.
