As part of the 2025 Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Member Impact Fund, Bank of Utah helped secure more than $200,000 in grant funding for 30 nonprofit organizations — more than any other financial institution in the program. These grants are helping local organizations throughout Utah create meaningful, lasting impact in the communities they serve.

Bank of Utah representative Anthony Schmitz presents a 2025 Member Impact Fund grant check to Prevent Child Abuse Utah.
Prevent Child Abuse Utah
Prevent Child Abuse Utah (PCAU) works to protect children and strengthen families through education, prevention and awareness. The organization delivers free, age-appropriate training to children, parents and community members across the state, empowering them to recognize and respond to abuse.
PCAU’s curriculum is the only one approved in Utah for teaching child sexual abuse and trafficking prevention in elementary schools. It gives children the tools to understand boundaries, speak up and seek help in safe, trusted ways. Bank of Utah supports PCAU’s mission through board leadership and financial contributions.
Funding from the 2025 Member Impact Fund will expand outreach to families, deliver parent education and help sustain the prevention programs that are keeping more Utah children safe every day.
