As part of the 2025 Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Member Impact Fund, Bank of Utah helped secure more than $200,000 in grant funding for 30 nonprofit organizations — more than any other financial institution in the program. These grants are helping local organizations throughout Utah create meaningful, lasting impact in the communities they serve.

Davis Education Foundation
Davis Education Foundation is working to remove barriers to learning for students across Davis County — and teen centers are a key part of that mission. Located inside high schools, these student resource hubs provide a safe place to shower, do laundry, study, meet with family service workers and access critical resources, helping students experiencing homelessness or housing instability stay focused and supported.
With funding from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines) Member Impact Fund and support from Bank of Utah, this year’s grant will help strengthen and expand teen centers and other temporary housing options for students in crisis.

In addition to supporting the grant effort, Bank of Utah team members toured the Davis Teen Center and assembled hygiene kits for the Foundation. Each kit included essential care items, financial literacy materials and handwritten notes of encouragement — offering both practical help and a heartfelt reminder that students in need are not alone.
