With Gratitude – Thank You for Choosing Bank of Utah

A message from Branden P Hansen, President and CEO

Posted December 2025

As the year comes to a close and the holiday season takes hold, there’s a particular kind of energy in the air, a feeling of anticipation that is familiar to all of us. This year has given us much to be grateful for and even more to look forward to in the months ahead.

Thank you for choosing Bank of Utah as your financial partner. Your support allows our teams to build stronger communities throughout Utah.

A Commitment That Reaches Further

Serving our communities is central to who we are, and this past year reflected that commitment in ways that made a real difference.

300+

Employees volunteered across Utah in 2025

1,900+

Service hours given throughout the state

100+

Organizations supported statewide

In 2025, more than 300 employees volunteered over 1,900 service hours throughout the state. They worked with more than 100 organizations focused on housing, food security, education and family needs. They served on boards and chambers, volunteered at community events, assembled hygiene kits for teens at local high schools, helped with warm clothing drives, and took part in holiday giving. They showed up time and again because building Utah up is part of who we are.

One highlight this year was our statewide Where’s the Wallet Cash Quest. It helped raise awareness for Utah nonprofits and created a fun way for people across the state to engage with their communities. The finders received a split prize – $10,000 to keep and $10,000 to donate – and directed the donation to the Utah Kids Foundation, which supports Utah’s special-needs families and caregivers.

Another standout effort came through the PGA TOUR’s Bank of Utah Championship at Black Desert Resort. Beyond the excitement of the tournament, the real impact came from what it made possible: $150,000 in funding for Teen Centers, the launch of a new financial literacy program developed with The Policy Project and the assembly of more than 1,000 hygiene kits by 45 volunteers from the Bank and PGA TOUR Wives Association.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we reflect on the year behind us, we also remain focused on what comes next.

Looking ahead to 2026, we are preparing for thoughtful, steady growth across the state and all our markets. Our work will include progress on new Utah County branches in Spanish Fork and Lehi, as well as the construction of a new building in St. George to better serve clients in southern Utah.

We also look forward to continued development of the PGA TOUR’s Bank of Utah Championship and enhancements to the products and digital tools that support our clients every day, including our credit card offering and emerging digital asset services.

Your Support Makes This Possible

As the season continues, I want you to know how much your partnership means to us. Your relationship with Bank of Utah helps us support families and communities throughout the state in meaningful ways. Thank you for making 2025 a remarkable year of financial partnership and community engagement.

We look forward to serving you, our great state and all our great clients wherever they are, with integrity, care and a continued commitment to the places we call home.

Wishing you and your family a holiday season filled with peace and joy.

Watch our 2025 Year in Review

Sincerely,
