This update affects: Lending clients who do not have a Bank of Utah checking or savings account and make mortgage, consumer or commercial loan payments through the Loan Payment Portal.

This update does not affect: Clients with a Bank of Utah checking or savings account who use Online Banking and Bill Pay. Online Banking is not impacted and no action is needed.

 

Bank of Utah login box with Make a Loan Payment button highlighted The Loan Payment Portal is being updated Nov. 20, 2025, to improve usability, security and payment capabilities for portal users, including:

  • A clearer, easier payment experience
  • New features like Pay By Text (the option to receive text reminders and pay from your predetermined funding source)1
  • Better visibility into payment history and recurring payments
  • Enhanced security and performance

What You Need to Do

Starting Nov. 20, you will need to create a new login and re-establish any recurring payments. Current usernames, passwords and scheduled payments will not transfer to the updated system.

Before you begin, please gather the following documentation:

  • Loan account number
  • Your bank routing and account number
  • Last 4 digits of SSN or Tax ID for the loan

The Make a Loan Payment button will remain on our homepage, but during the transition it will direct to our Loan Payments page, where you’ll find:

  • Important update details
  • A direct link to the new Loan Payment Portal
