As part of the 2025 Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Member Impact Fund, Bank of Utah helped secure more than $200,000 in grant funding for 30 nonprofit organizations — more than any other financial institution in the program. These grants are helping local organizations throughout Utah create meaningful, lasting impact in the communities they serve.

Building Opportunity: A 2025 Member Impact Grant Story
Utah Professional Women in Building (UPWB) empowers women in the construction industry through scholarships, mentoring, education and community service. As an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders, UPWB brings together professionals from architecture, engineering, skilled trades and real estate to foster leadership and service.
Bank of Utah has supported UPWB since its founding, with a bank employee serving on its executive board. The organization’s community outreach includes building and delivering beds to children in need and renovating shelters for domestic violence survivors — providing safe, dignified spaces for families rebuilding their lives.
Funding from the 2025 Member Impact Fund will help UPWB purchase construction materials, tools and furnishings for these projects, expanding their reach and impact across Utah communities.
