As part of the 2025 Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Member Impact Fund, Bank of Utah helped secure more than $200,000 in grant funding for 30 nonprofit organizations — more than any other financial institution in the program. These grants are helping local organizations throughout Utah create meaningful, lasting impact in the communities they serve.

Expanding Early Support: A 2025 Member Impact Grant Story
United Way of Northern Utah (UWNU) brings people together to build stronger, more stable communities across the region. Among its most impactful initiatives is the Welcome Baby program, which supports families with children under age 3 through home visits, learning kits and developmental guidance.
Bank of Utah has partnered with UWNU for many years through board leadership, donation drives, volunteer service and event sponsorships—sharing a commitment to nurturing healthy families and empowered communities.
Grant funding from the Member Impact Fund will help expand the Welcome Baby program by recruiting additional volunteers, enrolling more families and providing essential learning kits that support early childhood development.
