Expanding Trail Access: 2025 Member Impact Grant Story

As part of the 2025 Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Member Impact Fund, Bank of Utah helped secure more than $200,000 in grant funding for 30 nonprofit organizations — more than any other financial institution in the program. These grants are helping local organizations throughout Utah create meaningful, lasting impact in the communities they serve.

Trails Foundation of Northern Utah

The Trails Foundation of Northern Utah works to build, maintain and promote trails and open spaces for walking, biking and other non-motorized activities. The foundation encourages healthy living, safe transportation and community connection through accessible outdoor spaces.

Bank of Utah supports the Trails Foundation through volunteer efforts and donations, helping ensure that trails across the region remain open, safe and welcoming for everyone.

Funding from the 2025 Member Impact Fund will support trail operations and maintenance, as well as outreach and safety education programs that promote responsible trail use and outdoor enjoyment for all ages.
