As part of the 2025 Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Member Impact Fund, Bank of Utah helped secure more than $200,000 in grant funding for 30 nonprofit organizations — more than any other financial institution in the program. These grants are helping local organizations throughout Utah create meaningful, lasting impact in the communities they serve.

Friends of Switchpoint
Switchpoint empowers individuals and families in crisis by addressing the root causes of poverty and helping them work toward long-term stability. The organization provides far more than shelter — it offers access to food, transitional housing, 24-hour child care, and job opportunities through its thrift store and supportive services.
Bank of Utah is proud to support Switchpoint’s mission through construction partnerships and funding that help bring essential resources to those who need them most. The relationship reflects a shared belief in treating every person with dignity and offering tools to rebuild a better life.
Funding from the 2025 Member Impact Fund will help sustain shelter operations, stock the food pantry, and expand housing initiatives that support families and individuals as they transition from homelessness to stability.
