As part of the 2025 Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Member Impact Fund, Bank of Utah helped secure more than $200,000 in grant funding for 30 nonprofit organizations — more than any other financial institution in the program. These grants are helping local organizations throughout Utah create meaningful, lasting impact in the communities they serve.

Have a Heart Home
Have a Heart Home brings realtors, builders, lenders and volunteers together to create affordable housing opportunities for families with special needs. By working as a team, these partners help reduce the costs of home construction so that more families can achieve the stability and pride of homeownership.
Bank of Utah employees have contributed many hours to this initiative, lending time, energy and expertise to help turn building sites into meaningful places to call home. In one recent project, Bank of Utah joined community partners to build a home for a military family whose youngest child has special needs. The effort gave the family not just a home, but a supportive foundation tailored to their unique challenges.
Funding from the 2025 Member Impact Fund will help offset the cost of land, materials and loans for families who qualify — making homeownership more accessible and attainable.
