Bringing Music: A 2025 Member Impact Grant Story

As part of the 2025 Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Member Impact Fund, Bank of Utah helped secure more than $200,000 in grant funding for 30 nonprofit organizations — more than any other financial institution in the program. These grants are helping local organizations throughout Utah create meaningful, lasting impact in the communities they serve.

Excellence in the Community

Excellence in the Community believes that everyone deserves access to inspiring, high-quality live music. By partnering with top-tier local musicians, the organization hosts free concerts and performances in venues across Utah—making the arts more inclusive and available to all, regardless of income or background.

The concerts are more than just entertainment—they’re opportunities to build connection, foster creativity, and uplift communities. Whether it’s a child experiencing live music for the first time or a family gathering to enjoy a performance in their own neighborhood, these events leave a lasting impression.

Bank of Utah has proudly supported Excellence in the Community for years through financial donations and community advocacy. In 2025, funding from the Member Impact Fund will help expand the organization’s outreach—bringing live music experiences to more low- and moderate-income children and families throughout the state.
