In this episode of Inside the Vault, Emily Oyler, executive director of the Weber School Foundation, and Cherie Hanson, senior vice president of marketing and communications at Bank of Utah, join the conversation to explore a powerful initiative changing the lives of local students — teen resource centers.

You’ll hear how the teen center at Two Rivers High School was used more than 6,000 times just last school year. One visit came from a student who brought in their little sister’s clothes to be washed because their family didn’t have access to a working washing machine — a quiet but powerful reminder of the challenges many students face beyond the classroom.

Oyler shares how these centers are meeting students’ most basic needs with dignity and care, and Hanson explains how Bank of Utah team members stepped in to support the effort, assembling 400 hygiene kits specifically for the Weber School Foundation. Each kit was packed with essentials, a financial literacy booklet and a handwritten note of encouragement to help students feel seen and supported. In total, more than 1,000 kits were created and distributed to additional teen centers, shelters and nonprofit organizations across the state.

Tune in to hear how these efforts are making a difference, and how you can help, too.
