As part of the 2025 Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Member Impact Fund, Bank of Utah helped secure more than $200,000 in grant funding for 30 nonprofit organizations — more than any other financial institution in the program. These grants are helping local organizations throughout Utah create meaningful, lasting impact in the communities they serve.

Bank of Utah representative Cherie Hansen presents a 2025 Member Impact Fund grant check to Tabitha’s Way.
Tabitha’s Way
Tabitha’s Way operates three food pantries across Utah, providing vital assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. The organization envisions “No Hunger Zones” — communities where needs are met with dignity and long-term solutions are built through local support.
Bank of Utah supports Tabitha’s Way through board involvement, community engagement and volunteer service. Together, the organizations are working to ensure families not only receive help when they need it, but also have access to the resources that support long-term self-reliance.
Funding from the 2025 Member Impact Fund will help maintain pantry operations, support outreach efforts and provide food assistance to families in need. It will also strengthen hunger education and advocacy, helping more communities take an active role in fighting hunger close to home.
