Accomplished Mortgage Banking Professional, Bret Wall, Joins Bank of Utah as Senior Vice President of Residential Lending
Bank of Utah announced hiring 30-year veteran mortgage banking professional, Bret Wall, to lead its residential lending program. Wall, who is well respected in the financial industry, has a long track record for growing and managing mortgage production programs from the ground up.
Over his long career, Wall has served on the executive teams of several large mortgage banking firms in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, Arizona and California. Wall served as president of New Freedom Mortgage, a privately-owned mortgage banking firm, where he led corporate business development for the wholesale, retail and operational channels. He was instrumental in forming and growing a major wholesale platform specializing in government loan products, making his company a top national government lender.

Wall holds a bachelor's degree from University of Utah in German, and a Master of Business from National University. He and his wife Stacey have been married for 33 years, and have four children and five grandchildren. They reside in South Jordan, Utah.
